I think without a doubt as far as engines goes, my favorites are the 1JZ-GTE and 2JZ-GTE series.

I know some Toyota/Lexus models made more power later on, but nothing has the potential that these engines do and they are generally rock-solid and bullet proof engines, capable of big HP without internal modifications, unlike the RB26DETT in comparison.

I really like the JZS147 and JZS161 Aristos.  Soarer is a great car, and so were the JZX90 Chaser and Mark II series.

Altezza is a very nice car.

Of course MKIV Supra JZA80 is another classic.

The new Lexus/Toyotas just dont impress, and in North America their performance and tracking abilities pale in comparison to what Nissan/Infiniti and Honda/Acura can offer.
