I am originally Australian and have been living abroad in Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi my whole life. I'm 17 and am applying for a UK British passport and citizenship on the basis that my dad has one and that i would live with him if he moved to the UK. If my passport and citizenship are granted and I wish to go to Uni in England, will I still have to pay the oversees rates?
